Community Reviews
JLab Go Air Pop Plus earbuds stand out as a very cheap backup pair with strong battery life and solid sound for the price. The small charging case can also be handy in a pinch, and the USB C setup makes it easy to top up with a phone or any cable already on hand. Fit and usability are the main drawbacks, though, since the earbuds can slip out during running, feel bulky for smaller ears, and are hard to grab from the case. Bluetooth mic recognition on laptops has also been unreliable.
Common Questions (4)
Battery life and sound quality are reported as excellent by some buyers, but another report says the sound is lackluster with little bass even after EQ. For the price, they can still work well as a backup pair.
The earbuds can slip out during high-intensity running or jogging, and they may not fit small ears well. They also can be hard to find if one falls to the floor, so a sport clip or a different model may be better for workouts.
The earbuds can be hard to remove from the case because there is no lip or grip, especially for thicker fingers. If the case is lost, the earbuds are basically unusable because the case is needed for practical charging and use.
Bluetooth connectivity with a laptop can be unreliable, and the earbuds may fail to show up as a microphone for calls most of the time. Re-pairing can temporarily restore it, but the issue can return.

I used to prefer the type a version, until I realized I could charge it with a phone. It's much more useful now.

I also have the Baseus BP1 Pro that I got for $18 at some point and they are miles better than these.
