Yes. Even if you purchased a digital Switch 2 Edition of a full game, that game is entirely playable on Switch 1.

Shame that the Switch 2 edition patches out the item duplication glitches. That's what made it playable for me...I can't stand breakable items.

Dumb question. If I purchased the upgraded pack and played it on my S2, can I still use the same same cartridge to play on my OG Switch? My S2 is arriving next week so this will be my first game.

Yes. Even if you purchased a digital Switch 2 Edition of a full game, that game is entirely playable on Switch 1.

For Switch 2? I'm intrigued, but only if it's as easy as the original glitch where you just had to jump off a ledge and switch items quick enough. I remember the glitches after that involved a lot of work.

OK So I got the Switch 2 this week and already owned BOTW and TOTK and with my NSO account I got both upgrades for free.
Now my question is if I cancel/stop NSO do I loose that upgrade and have to buy this or no?

Yes, pretty sure if you don't keep an active NSO subscription, you lose them.
