It is NOT a just toaster oven. I own it. It's an air fryer, a convection oven, toaster, broiler, and dehydrator. It's an excellent all around kitchen appliance and this is a very good deal.
A 3 star review on their website from 25 days ago:
"I bought this flip oven a few months ago & I like it but wish I had stuck with my old ninja foodi multi cooker with pressure cooking, air fry, etc. I'm so sad that it is no longer available. I love that but my flip oven doesn't air fry as well & for some reason it is leaking grease out the back feet when I flip it into storage position. It's very hard to clean it also, because it's hard to get your hands in to wipe it etc. it does bake well & cooks meat beautifully. It also dehydrates well."
I don't think I want to deal with this. But I really wanted it for the space saving feature.

Okay... I have the version that they are talking about, the older foodie. Both of which can flip up and save storage. The foodie has a removable tray to catch stuff. Does the new one not have a removable tray? If it in fact does have a removable tray, my recommendation would be to clean the tray before you put it in the upright position
I know it's $40 more, but I got a variant of this about three weeks ago (actually got at Costco, but page isn't working) Ninja[bjs.com]
Back pops off for cleaning. I already had a small cookie sheet that happens to fit perfectly in it, so I've been using that for pretty much everything. Used it maybe 15 times and pretty spotless, but I've mostly been using it for air frying frozen apps and baking. It is very slim, so limited usability compared to my old large toaster-over style one, however, the ability for this to fold up and get out of the way is well worth the hassle. I reclaimed a huge amount of counter space.

back no longer open for current version is one of the biggest complaint I hear on internet, could you please confirm the model number for the one you got at Costco where back pops open? I'd so get one if cleaning it isn't an issue. Thanks!!!
