So if you're looking for a pair of shoes just for running, I'd recommend actual running shoes. These basketball shoes are probably heavier and have limited ankle mobility.
As for the Immortalities, I'm a fan of them. One of my kids prefers them over some other flagship shoes, I'm not sure if they really understand or appreciate the added performance aspects of the more expensive shoes. But I'm not complaining if they prefer the cheaper shoes. The front of the soles for their previous pair did detach a bit and I think I'd be able to file a claim with Nike because it's been less then two years since the manufactured date. But I don't think it's a really big deal and it's still able to be played in, it was a cheap price and they got a couple of seasons out of it. So don't think it's worth complaining about. The Immortalities are one of the go to shoes for us if we see them on sale when shopping for basketball shoes.
