Is the Chase offer for eBay purchases? Also through browser extension or chase rewards credit card offer?

EDIT: I think I found it, but I'm reading in the fine print it's a $3 cash back maximum?

This has been around this price for several months due to several known issues:
  • Bad build quality and thermals (Acer is sensibly worse than Asus/Lenovo for same device tier). It will run hot and be very loud for most gaming.
  • Random 10-15s freezes for no clear reason. Multiple reports of this if you google around
  • Battery life is extremely bad due to locked screen refresh rate (240hz) and issue with sleep mode
If you are ok with these, the specs to price ratio is insane but know that you are getting a portable desktop with worse thermals.

I got scammed by that "offer" too. Could have used Citi Doublecash and made far more money back on what I spent. Always read the fine print, especially with Chase "offers"

My Chase United Quest just paid my claim full refund on a 2 year old Dell G16 and I kept the laptop. The extra year warranty (3 years total) from Quest card is worth more than the cashback.

Very tempting. But review says this laptop throttles CPU/GPU. So the performance is subpar compared to similar spec'd laptops that are thickker.
