I see 40+ piece sets of Bosch impact bits at Lowe's for $24-30, which I would guess would go lower during a sale. Anyone have experience or knowledge on whether it's more handy forn a home user to have 10 of this specific bit or a 48 pack like this for $24: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Bosch-48...5001783405 .

I could see having the other bit types being handy when occasionally needed, but experienced users may say most are never used and the ones in this deal are used 95% of the time. TIA

For a homeowner, get the bits set (make sure it's impact if you use an impact driver).

When one breaks, buy that specific bit in a 2/3-pack as needed.

Well if you don't have the different bits then 100% get the multi-pack. There is absolutely no reason to buy a 10 pack of the same bit unless 1) you lose them quite often, or 2) keep bits in different locations for what is needed. While they do wear out/break for the typical "home user" this is going to take a while, and as mentioned you buy a small 2/3 pack or something to replace them.
