Maybe they are discontinuing this deal in July or the week of when July starts..

KFC a la carte: 8 piece (pc) chicken $20.49 where I am at
8 pc chicken for $10 is $1.25 each
12 pc chicken a la carte $27.99
This deal: 12 pc chicken for $15 is $1.25/each
Okay, so not cheaper, but definitely more % off.

Good deal. The Tuesday $10 8pc bucket is the same $/pc but is specifically dark meat only, but this one includes chicken breasts and wings as well. Quote from the deal: "Our bucket includes a mix of 3 drumsticks, 3 thighs, 3 breasts, and 3 wings". Since the breasts are a lot larger than the other pcs, this deal probably wins $/oz.
I often get the Tuesday bucket and it's always just 4 drumsticks and 4 thighs. Of course, the other downside is you can only get it on Tuesday Smilie
