This is my most used screwdriver at home. The fuel and brushless ones have too much torque for the small things

I have this screwdriver as well as the M12 Installation Driver drill kit (the looped handle with all the extra heads/adapters) and I also have the much more powerful M12 Fuel impact driver. This simple M12 screwdriver is the one I carry in my tool bag and use the most. It's lightweight and has adjustable torque settings that let me dial in just the amount of torque I need. Good tool.

This wat I use for light interior work in cars. The torque setting keeps you from stripping smaller screws.

Really? The m12 impact is small and light. I'm really surprised to hear this.

I completely agree with you that the 3453-20 impact driver is small and light. In fact, it's about 80g lighter and 1-5/8" shorter than the 2401-20 screwdriver. But for things like replacing locksets, repairing appliances, assembling furniture, or working on automotive interior trim pieces and panels--the ability to fine tune the torque is what makes the screwdriver a better tool (for me). The1/4" impact driver, even on its lowest setting, can seriously overdo it unless you're really careful. It feels like more work to have to "pull my punches" with the impact, whereas with the screwdriver, I can just mindlessly hold down the trigger until the clutch kicks in. Now, if I'm driving lag screws to mount a big TV into studs, or putting deck screws into joists, the impact driver is hard to beat, for sure.
