Got one last year for $28. Don't think we'll see that again. Still think worth it at this price. Good quality. I roasted a 14 lbs turkey in it last year and came out awesome

That's some top shelf luck to get this decent size 7.3 qt for $28.
No experience with Amazon Basic's version here, but I've been very pleasantly surprised with the quality of numerous other Amazon Basics items that I have purchased.

you can fit a 14lb turkey in this? im looking for something that can fit a smaller rib roast so this prob would work then...

The best cast iron from China. Only the finest old engine blocks, train tracks, and who knows were recast to make these. I'm sure the iron that leeches from these into your food is top flight.
