One of the best down jackets on the market. No brainer at this price.

If you are XXXL, the REI Magma 850 is on sale for $70. That one is 850+ FP and lighter, but thinner material, so backpacking focused/layering vs this one which is thicker and more durable

I know, I'm gonna catch some flack for this ... but what an idiotic design! It's like they ran out of the the nice stuff and someone grabbed some leftover patches and slapped them in a hurry!

I agree it's ugly as an owner of this jacket. Your shoulders will never get wet though. It's a really heavy duty version of the ghost whisperer, and the baggy arms are super confortable. What it doesn't have in standard looks it's functional as heck.

I got this a few years back for like $79. I have never found a down jacket to be this durable. That said, the color is even worse in person
