Turn off the TV wifi, and use a Roku device for streaming.

I've had an insignia 33" tv since 2017 and used it as an external monitor for 5 years and it held up fine. Fire tv interface not a fan anymore but it's easy to add a Roku stick. Even my old dynex 32" tv which used to be a bestbuy brand I still use today for a pc monitor
