i'm 100% sure a 5$ kit will perform exactly like you expect a 5$ kit to perform.

I bought this last time it was on sale and used it this weekend. I was trying to get plastic fasteners out of a bumper. I broke the thinnest nylon tool on the first fastener. The one metal tool was fairly useful, though I wish it were slimmer.

Oh, I bought a couple of these for $1 each on eBay a couple of years ago!
I use these tools all the time - not as much for car work Smilie
Stuff like bike tires, scraping ice off freezer walls while doing a quick defrost, etc
Any place you want a sturdy non-metallic scraper - these work fantastic!

Good timing. I am restoring an old van and was thinking about getting a set like this yesterday.

Even if this might not be the best trim removal tool at least you'd get some small crowbars that you could destroy without feeling bad for $5

I recommend buying a few of these and keeping them around your house. Way safer than using a flathead , or your fingernail. Generally useful for disassembling things, keep a couple in each toolbox. It's always best to start with something soft and weak to avoid scuffing and breaking things.
