Hit or miss if you get a box that's been tampered with. Amazon has fallen with its quality checks on TCG items. I won't buy again from them after being burned 3 times in the past year. To each their own and good luck if you choose to.

Is that still an issue if its coming from the official Magic the Gathering store on Amazon?

Doesn't matter who it's coming from if it's from the Amazon warehouse. They bulk it together as a product and the false ones get mixed up with legit ones.

Accurate, unfortunately. Amazon has made no effort to do anything about counterfeiting in the TCG / board game space, even tho it has been an issue for well over a decade.
Good thing this isn't even the best price. https://www.tcgplayer.com/product...er-display

Actually they've updated their inventory system as of last month to avoid fraudulent returns easier. It's no longer a shared inventory between sellers. Every sellers inventory is labeled as their own.

I just looked this up to verify and it seems as if you are correct.
But the price is generally still worse, and why not support a store that is actually invested in the game you're purchasing? We're going to wish we hadn't bought everything off of Amazon one day.

I rolled the dice and ordered one. Fingers crossed. Is there any tampering I should look out for? I know the wrapping should have the magic logos on it.

They're all different. If you are ripping, you'll know, but if you are stocking or saving sealed product, you won't until opened later.

What's everyone chasing in this set? I've seen the stones go for a fortune but those seem impossible to hit.

Yes, everything is grouped together at the amazon warehouse. Though I don't feel like people are putting in the effort to repackage regular boosters over collectors boosters. Every example I've seen has been from collectors booster packs.

Problem is that most people don't see big picture. If you're able to buy a play box of Universes Beyond for under $130 from a local store, they're still not making any profit. Wizards of the Coast is trying to cut out the LGS but they're hoping people don't notice.

I really wanted to do this to, but already spent 80 on getting nothing from 6 packs.

I'm not sure what you bought that was 6 packs fr $80, but you should probably look more into your options before doing that again. Bundles aren't typically great value, but they're at least 9 packs for about $60-70. You should also look into your local scene, maybe play a draft with other people who play or play on MTG Arena if the idea of other people isn't your thing.
