This is a good vacuum with terrific suction given the 18V battery. I use it for my entire house. I bought multiple filters because dust will clog them quickly, just like any vacuum. And since they're made from a washable mesh, I throw them into the washing machine.

can you do the return hack on this to just get the stick vacuum since I have about 8 batteries already?

Edit: it is but you need to use two direct links to the battery deal and the tool only.

Not even close. Professional reviews on this vac are abysmal. I have an OLD Dyson, and really just wanted this for quick pickups in the basement, but by comparison to even old models of Dyson, this vac is a very poor substitute. I took the first one back, thinking maybe I just got a bad one, but nope, the second one was no better. I bought it because it was a "slick deal", but I ended up returning it to HD.

Interested in this because I'm already in the Ryobi ecosystem and need a new stick vac. I currently have an LG CordZero from a few years ago and I don't like it at all. It's decent on carpet but on hard floors it kicks out anything larger than a grain of rice, it's maddening. Anyone know if the Ryobi does any better in this department?
