Solid deal. If you figure that $10/Ah is "slick" territory, this saw at $80 is still a good price. In the past we were jumping on it at $140 with a single Edge battery. These are all HP, so a slight loss there, but you're trading a better battery for lots more capacity.

I like them...dust doesn't blow on me and my holding hand is on the other side of the saw from the blade. It is also designed so looking down on the saw, it has an opening so you can easily see your actual cut line (where the blade hits the wood). No downsides for this right handed user :-)

I went for it. I needed a portable saw to break down some wood after I buy it from the store (I'll have a truck someday...) and I did need some more batteries too
