I bought one last time. I've found these are great for opened shoulders from long desk hours. e.g. you can't do a wide-grip overhead squat (like after a snatch). it's like opening your shoulders with a broomstick, but the extra weight means you have to keep the weight centered.
Obviously a proper barbell is better, but I can keep one of these in my office and pull it out during long calls.

i used to use bar-like stuff (my son's broken hockey stick) for shoulder stretch. But now i switched to resistance bands. Better control how much you want to go ...

Decent product for a decent price if you were going to use it for it in intended use. Most people will not find it useful.

I like resistance bands for stretching and warm up, but I feel they can hide my asymmetry in my shoulders. A weighted barbell is harder, an olympic barbell with some decent weight on it, it's really harder to hide my postural problems
