Amazon is full of medica converters that are cheaper than this. There is at least one two-pack this price. I'm not going to link them because the sellers don't meet SD minimum lifetime feedback. But, they are "ship from Amazon" FBA so should be fairly safe.

People trying to save a buck on hardware deployments. In my experience, SC hardware has been consistently and significantly cheaper than LC.
