joking or not, the answer is "yes" if asking rufus (alexa now?).

"Yes! The SEAINGO Heated Butter Knife is specifically designed to soften peanut butter (along with butter, chocolate, cream, and more). It heats up to 107°F in 6 seconds or 158°F in 15 seconds, which is plenty to warm and soften peanut butter for easy spreading without tearing your bread."

My father used to have to cut butter with his teeth. What a time to be alive.

Yep! When I go to get the dal at Amazon it is priced at 19.99 not the 9.99 advertised
Read the OP again to get the code you need to apply. Also, be aware that sometimes it takes more than one try to get codes to apply. Go to checkout after that and make sure it applied.

For when you need an actual scientific method reference point for comparison to "like a hot knife through butter"

I like the concept of this, howver, hot water and a knife also works pretty well.

Anyone have something similar and can speak to if this is just a gimmick or if it does provide some QOL.

I can't tell if the people in the ad are AI generated or really good dressing up and staging as an atomic family from the 50's.

Or just buy Kerygold. It's extra high butter fat makes it soft even when cold. Bonus: the flavor 🤤

There was a video on social media from a chef testing a bunch of equipment like this.

He said the heated butter knives are largely worthless, mostly because of what was already stated here: hot water works fine, and so does leaving butter (or other items) out long enough to get to room temperature.

Sure, it works. But really just taking up extra room when you already have knives.
