I don't have this exact camera but have multiple other Tapo units and they're all pretty silent when moving.

You don't hear it move if you're in the room with it but if you're on the app and move it, you can hear it pan on your phone/ipad but it's pretty quiet. I love Tapo camera. This one is easy to setup and is very durable. I've had it in extreme heat, sun and torrential rain and it keeps on going. This camera was totally submerged in water and the USB power supply shorted out but the camera was still working using another power supply shorted I highly recommend.
