It's a decent price for a metal case with link rate status lights from a known (but still Chinese) brand. You can get the 8x2.5Gbps version for $10 more ($50): https://slickdeals.net/f/19643976-tp-link-tl-sg108s-m2-8-port-multi-gigabit-2-5g-ethernet-switch-50-free-s-h
You can get cheaper plastic ones from Ugreen or countless random Chinese brands.
Ignoring the extra 10% off with Amazon credit card, for something like 25% more (but still only $10... edit 37% or $15 more) you can consider the Ubiquiti Switch Flex Mini 2.5G... ugh... they seem to have added a $2 "memory surcharge" and finding one with free shipping isn't as easy as it was... maybe it's $55 now... but it's managed and has some other features you might like/want/need vs. the OP basic unmanaged. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...witch.html
You can always also ask yourself if you actually need 2.5 Gbps or if just setting an old router into AP mode with wifi turned off will be good enough for your use case. Sure, not as much fun for bragging about speed tests, but does it actually matter for your needs if your once a month large network task has you waiting 20 seconds or 40 seconds or if some background task you aren't sitting there watching takes 10 minutes or 20 minutes? 1 Gbps is plenty for streaming multiple 4K movies at the same time, downloading the occasional game, etc.
All that said, this is $10 cheaper (again ignoring the Amazon credit card bonus) than it's ever been, so yes, it's a good deal for this exact model if you actually need/want it.

Is this good price? I've been looking for 2.5g switch and i'm not sure what the market rate is.

Yes this is a decent deal, but there was an 8 port for 49.99 from TP-Link about 2 days ago. People will complain about it being unmanaged, but for 99% of people this doesn't really matter.

The 8 port is only $10 more.

Edit. Someone already said it.

Thank you, bought the 8 port 2.5gbps for my Synology Nas and 2.5gbps fiber.
