I have little experience with blades. How does this compare with a 80/100T on Amazon for approximately the same price?

No idea about the blades you're looking at on Amazon; but you get what you pay for.

This Dewalt blade is great for corded or battery miter saws. This would be good for most cuts. If you're trimming doors or light trim work, use painters tape on the edges (tape the door/trim and then scribe your cut mark or line on the tape) to reduce chips and splintering.

Also, the kerf on this blade is not your typical 1/8" width... this one is listed as .085 inches, which is somewhere in between the 1/16 to 3/32" mark (if you use a tape with .32's on it).... but the absolute closest measurement for the width of the blade is just a little over 5/64".

Also, you could also use this for cutting vinyl plank flooring (like Pergo). The carbide coated edges will help reduce wear and dullness but like everything, it WILL dull and wear down... faster or slower depending on what you're cutting.

If you start noticing it takes longer to cut through a board or you start seeing black marks (char marks) then it is time to change your blade.

A FlexVolt blade, excellent. Now how do I set it up to cut with 20 teeth instead of 60?
