It usually goes down to $289 or so couple of times a year when Sam's puts it on sale. How come so low now? Is this typical for Kitchenaid pricing in general? Thanks.

I bought the red one last week for $221.96 + tax + $8.00 shipping. It was delivered the next day.

This is a really good price for this mixer, as it doesn't usually go this low anywhere. In addition, this set comes with 3 extra accessories: 3-qt stainless steel bowl, a mini whip, and a spatula.

Same model was around this price last year at this time at Best Buy ($199 late July) in ink blue, silver and maybe one other color. This is best pricing since pre Covid I would say. But in this range is not uncommon a couple times a year (July and Black Friday)

I have regretted getting the bowl lift over the head lift. It is a pain to remove the bowl. There isn't enough clearance to remove the bowl without also removing the attachment.

I just tried ordering it. The website was freaking out making all the prices go back to 400 for every color. However, my mom had it saved in her shopping cart and was able to buy it but then everything went back to $400.

I switched from shipping to pickup and the price went up. I didn't realize why at first and thought I missed out.
