When I click the Amazon link, it listed many similar tripods for the same or lower prices. I decided to wait until I need it to buy it. No need to clutter my house when Amazon Prime can ship it in 2 days. Wink

Received mine, and pretty sure it's going back. Very hard to pull the stick part out. Also, my bad for not looking closer, but this is probably the size of 3-4 "standard" selfie sticks. It actually can serve as a baton if needed. Just not very compact at all. Might as well carry my joby tripod around, at least that has a bag.

Cheaper than a lot of the comparable tripods with this promo code, and it comes with a remote. It'll give it a shot.

I have a very similar one from another brand and it's super useful. I keep it in the car in my door pocket for those unexpected shots where a tripod is useful. It isn't the most stable, but it is sufficient for most needs.

I use mine a lot for night photography when I am away from city lights and need to do a long exposure. Likewise,
if I want to do a quick selfie or a group shot from more than arms length than don't want to rely on the photographic skills of some random passerby, it's useful. The little Bluetooth remote makes it handy to snap a bunch of photos rather than having to use the timer. It also works well for an impromptu time lapse.

Ordered one. This would have been handy to have on my recent trip.

Last week, I got the Ackima selfie stick. Almost returned it for this one, cuz the Lisen is taller, but one I got has:

- MagSafe mount instead of "pry open" mount

- 4 legs instead of 3 for stability

- about 50% ish more compact

- $12 instead of $17

Lisen is a better brand, and I do wish mine came with a 1/4" screw mount option like the Lisen, and I wish it was taller, but I don't think it's worth the trade off of it being so bulky

So I received mine yesterday and have some thoughts and a slightly unusual use case. I needed to complete my trio for a mobile fitness photography setup.
Sony A7c +
https://a.co/d/07SDr5ka which are AWESOME but do not come with tripods.

I already have a pair of these tripods (purchased for similar $) https://a.co/d/0d3AOFds

They are about 1" longer, a couple oz heavier, the phone mount is removable/optional, and FAR STURDIER. That's more valuable to me than being able to set up 0.1s faster with the spring loaded tripods.

However, if I wasn't trying to ultralight a full-frame camera & light setup and only ran around with my S26 Ultra? This would be fine I guess.
