Expandable hoses great idea, however they last only a short while then they burst. Waste of money!

I hate to admit it, but I love these sorts of hoses. They work well and the light weightedness is awesome for storing. I have a similar from sunjoe that is my go to hose and I just disconnect it from different spigots on my house.

From my experience, a twist in the hose when turning the water on is what will cause a burst. I can't imagine these are much different and would probably burst in that scenario; it is a pain to prevent it too since it is pretty easy for a hose to get twisted up. Once the hose is 'inflated' or 'expanded' though that risk goes away. I also feel like $10 a piece for 25' and $15-20 for 50' is about as much as I am willing to pay for these; to me they are relatively 'disposable' and I never expect to get more than 1-2 seasons out of them.

edit: I have not purchased this exact hose in case it was unclear that I was giving experience/feedback with similar style hoses.
