This HP Omen 45L 5090 build stands out as a customizable way to get Nvidia's flagship card, especially when configured with 16GB of RAM instead of 32GB. Stacking the 16GB option with EPP and the military discount brings the price down to about $3,636 before tax, and the 16GB choice avoids paying for memory that can be upgraded later. The chassis appears to use standard size parts for the power supply and cooler, but HP may still rely on proprietary components, and the motherboard has limited expansion. Delivery can also slip because these are custom builds, so patience may be needed.

Awesome! I'm glad!First few orders were pretty accurate but the Jun 18th order was delayed from 6/25 to 7/13 ship date. The dates slipped for the first time for me Shipped from Texas I think so it is just a few days to get it delivered. 7/16-7/20This Jun 29th order said 7/20 and should be similar to be so fingers crossed it ships on time! so maybe 7/25 delivery latest I hopeI have no idea how many machines they had in stock so hard to say they are are just so backed up from all of the orders since these are all custom builds!
Mine said 7/22 but it just shipped. The problem now is I'm out of town.

Mine was listed as 7/20 but it is shipped also- 2 tracking numbers were given.

2 more are pending, maybe tomorrow I will get 2 more tracking numbers

For delivery HOLD, you could call FedEx directly and ask them to HOLD and you go pick it up at their distribution point.
Sometimes you have to ask the SHIPPER to call. It's bit of a phone tag but it is possible

Ah I haven't done this for a long time. I didn't realize the App now has this feature. Good to know!

It was shipped early on 7/9. 10 days ahead of time.

My delivery dates are 7/14 and 7/16. Weird the earlier order is delayed by 2 days. LOL.

I bit on this deal. Thanks for your ongoing informative posts.

How accurate have HP's estimates been? It might be a problem for me if it is delayed a few days from the estimate shipping date.

Interesting, so you keep buying 5090 prebuild, and sell the 5090 to keep the computer? Why do you need so many computer? Now I've deployed a few local AI services and I can see why you need more than 1 5090 so I feel getting more 5090 is the goal.
Rumors of Price Hike, I have been checking the prices and so have others to find another HP deal.

As the ongoing AI-fueled RAMpocalypse worsens, Nvidia graphics cards may be the next gaming hardware to become even more expensive. According to a report from the Taiwanese outlet Economic Daily News, Nvidia will be raising the price of its memory and GPU bundles by between 20% and 30%.

Hoping new coupon cycle after 8/1 -- when the current BACK2SCHOOL25 coupon expires we'll get another deal.

RAM PRICEs not coming down, GPU prices are going up in China already (rumored reports of distributors being notified). So expect prices to go up again despite the "AI bubble bursting" chants by many.

They don't understand the knock-on affect that bubble bursting will cost everyone more money than a few sticks of RAM ever would. lol.
