How to get it for $3,636 each
  1. pick 16GB (8GB x 2) default - as post #2 said if you want lower price. $350 you can get ram yourself.
  2. Stack with your EPP (extra $161 off) - idk why other deals do not have EPP mentioned or tell you to remove EPP but it seems to allow stacking lastly. Always try this! Op's military discount is a great idea too. Make sure you try to stack the benefits
before tax is $3,636 each

a steal for someone who's just after the 5090

I saw 5090 GPU only on the shelf for $4100 and $4400 today. LOL crazy.

Ship date was already past 7/20 so you'll have to be patient on this one.

Not really Xmas as I scanned fo "5090"'desktops just now.

The lowest I found was $3100-3200 for 5090 PCsOMEN HP 45L Desktop: Ultra7 265K, RTX 5090, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, 1200W PSU, Win11

I thought I saw some with 64GB before.

This was Jan.

I am too lazy to look and reminisce the past prices lol

The prediction is for 5090 to go up in price, based on AI's research

If it wasn't an Intel chip I would. Too many problems over the years. Even with the warranty, HP customer service is good, but it takes weeks

I did a search "Rtx 5090 Desktop" and the only thing that came close to the $2800 was a CyberpowerPC LAPTOP. Not a desktop. I would have bought like 4x of those PCs for $2800 in 2025 if it was a desktop PC. lmfao

I saw $4100 just RTX 5090 in person, one box today. Too expensive lol.
Saw another for $4400. I'll get a full computer any day for less than $4100 if it has a 5090 in it.

The big 3 memory makers will settle the price fixing law suite, pay 100-200M, do not care, carry on with the shortage. the suit will take a while as they make a few hundred more billions in market cap. the fine does not matter, it will just make the stock go up more so they have plenty of money to pay the fine.

I'll go long and say 2028 until we see relief since Apple raised the prices and they did it for the long term so I think 2028.

Wild card - New Chinese RAM manufacture entering the ring, will be a while before they cam up but one of the big Internet firms in China is going to use them and Apple is considering them as well. That will still take a while to bring down the RAM prices as demand is still high.

Bubble will burst at one point sure like clock is broken twice as day as everyone is calling for it but every company is still trying to use AI even though they can't justify the ROI because they can't fall behind another company with a possible break thru. With Chinese labs catching up / distilling US Lab stuff, US gotta keep racing ahead with all of the damn compute lol. Normies will get crappier models but still better and better.
