This stuff is cheaper than regular Charmin, but also noticeably thinner and less soft. We don't mind paying a little more for sale prices on better versions of Charmin or Northern or Cottonelle.

Sneaking the word "essentials" in there to hide the lower quality. It's two ply so that's nice.

I also see "Hanes Essentials", "Adidas Essentials", "Amazon Essentials", "Bounty Essentials", "Scott Essentials". There is even a "SanDisk Essentials". You can decide how they are trying to trick the consumer with these product names.
BTW - some "Charmin Essentials" toilet paper is only 1-ply. You have to read the fine print to figure out how much worse the product is compared to regular Charmin.
