If you do buy one -- and at $222 thats a phenominal price .... but do the following ...

We have these batteries here at work ...

When you get yours:

Make sure Bluetooth app connects.

Make sure resting voltage is roughly 13.1–13.4V charged.

AND the easiest way to see if its real or fake -- The official Eco-Worthy specs for this battery says about 61.7 lb ... if it shows up at 35–40 lb, something is wrong.

So in 2008 a 12v 100Ah LiFePO4 battery ran right at $1000 ....

A 280Ah was right at $2450 ,,,,

And that was with a very crappy BMS - if at all ...

so yes ... a 280Ah with excellent BMS for $222 is a pretty damn good deal ...

Resting voltage at full charge should be around 13.5v. This doesn't mean the battery is fully charged once it hits 13.5v. You want to get it up to 14.2v-14.6v and hold up there (individual cell voltages should be between 3.55v to 3.65v) to let the cells balance. With a new battery, I usually watch the individual cell voltages and stop charging if I see any individual cell voltage start to go higher than 3.65v. After a few cycles, the individual cells should stay close to the same voltages at the top or bottom. After that, I typically keep my absorption voltage at 14.2 to maximize the life of the battery.

This site is legit. I have ordered 3 different times from them, 4th time this morning for this battery. Pretty fast shipping From Cali to Ohio. They do play games with pricing. Once they hit so many, they jack the price up for a week or so. Keep it saved and keep checking back. You have to be signed in to add it to your cart and get the code to work. Had no problems this morning. the 100ah was $90 shipped a couple weeks ago. these are legit and work great. Original deal on here, was for $208. I missed that, but got it for around $220.

I paid approx $900 for the four 280ah eco worthy batteries I have. I don't know how they can continue to charge as much as they do for tesla powerwalls and I can't stand the fact that solar installers keep pushing them on people.
