I have been with MINT for more than a year. Can I port out and port back in to activate this promotion?
Don't know the answer to that, main issue is what MINT considers a 'new customer' to get this offer. May require not having service ever or for a specified period of time, say 6 months as an example. I'd look for that info before doing anything.

Ie, if you're porting out today and looking to port back next week or 30 days from now.

This or a year of us mobile for $199? I thought the Verizon plan on us mobile was not prioritized lower like other secondary carriers. I'm looking to add a second line within days and deciding between these two.
not sure if US Mobile also has additions tax/fees on top of the $199, but if they do, Mint is the winner on Price alone. Does US Mobile also have the generous hotspot allotment like MINT does?

Just ported out from Mint, have to do it every year to come back and get a new customer deal. They tried to play "let's make a deal" with me when getting the acct and PIN, which was new for them, but essentially what they were offering was to split the difference between the new customer and existing customer price.

Really considering this. Has anybody been on native T-Mobile and then switch to mint? Is there different priority or noticeable speed difference?
There's almost no difference. Paying full price for t-mobile or any other major carrier is a blatant robbery. Mint / US Mobile is the way!

You should be good to go. I believe to be a "new customer" you must have not had service with them within the last 90 days.

I had T-Mobile for many years, im considered more of a power user as I work off my phone, I switched to Mint for a little over a year and saw no major difference in anything, speeds were good and so was coverage. I jumped ship for the US-Mobile deal last year but am probably going to return to Mint with this deal.

Why forced out? I haven't had a price increase to an old grandfathered unlimited plan. It's still $185/mo. for 6 lines though. The biggest reason for staying has been the perks like free Netflix and Hulu.
Im currently at two lines. When I first signed up was 2-lines at $100, now same plan is $135. Then recent message I got said my new updated plan will be around $150 and still have same benefits as before.

On the web site it states renewals are also on sale and to use the app. I'm a satisfied customer and want to renew, but I don't see the deal. Anyone able to get the deal with a renewal?
Confirmed, renewed yesterday for the 180$. They now include 6gb to the plan. Also, final cost is 199$ due some fees and tax.

Is it normal, they are charging a recovery fee of $25.25 now (I don't recall if I paid it last time) ?

Apologies, I had renewed my previous MINT 5gb for $180, not the unlimited.

Me too. Thinking about jumping ship now though. Seems like Apple TV for $3 a month and Hulu are going by the wayside as well and you'll get Netflix $8.99 plan instead.

Was T-Mobile, switched to Mint, no problems. But I live in a major metro (LA), so every carrier works well for me.
