T-Mobile has traffic inspection set up on their service. They can tell when you are streaming video. When you are streaming video, they throttle the shit out of your connection such that you can only manage 480p, high compression videos.
Maybe not a deal breaker for some, but in 2026 any streaming services are not at all set up to handle this gracefully anymore and run like absolute shit.
You can get around this throttling by using a VPN, but streaming services now almost universally block you from using them if they detect a VPN. So this is actually a huge pain in the ass and a complete deal breaker for me.
