FWIW, you'd think that kit would actually contain an an earth tone thread or two.
Edit: perhaps barely related, I started searching for a heavy duty kit (suitable for Army type field repairs inspired by the "Army Green" bag). This kit for $8 would be pretty sweet for fixing MOLLE pouches, BDU type uniforms, backpacks, etc. I've done plenty of field expedient repairs like this with less.
