I really like this tool. Makes edging so easy that I actually do it after every mow now.

Absolutely not. Only for edging sidewalks. It's a metal blade that only spins perpendicular to the ground.

I chimed in here to say that Amazon has price matched this, but the extra 15% is clutch because it makes it cheapest to go through Greenworks. Thanks for sharing this!

You are doing it backwards.
Edge First then mow.

String trimmer with just a few practices is more efficient.
Unless maintaining a HUGE property.

Thanks for the tip. I don't trim often let alone edge. When I do, I edge last. So, I have been doing it wrong all these years. Glad I enjoy reading comments on this forum.

Did a little research after reading your comment.

Professional Lawn Care Order
Edge
Mow
String trim
Blow off debris

This is the sequence followed by many professional landscaping crews because it's efficient and produces the cleanest results.

A Tip for Homeowners

If you edge every 2–3 mowings instead of every time, you'll save time while still keeping crisp lawn edges. String trimming, however, is usually needed every mowing to maintain a polished appearance.

Following this order minimizes rework, reduces cleanup, and gives your lawn a professionally maintained appearance.

Reason why "pro's" string trim AFTER mowing is they don't know each property and constant turnover of daylaborers.
So they trim what the big oversized mowers can't cut.

A homeowner cutting his/her own lawn, after 2-3 times will know what spots mower can't get to. So trimming first (including areas mower doesn't cut) is better because when it's time to mow, regardless if you collect/bag clippings or mulching blades, the mower will vacuum up and/or mulch the trimmer clippings during the mowing. Leaving you smallest size and amount clippings to blow off.

Here in south FL it's a year round process.

I am very disappointed with Greenworks tools. The advertising on the product boxes did not match my real-world experience. For example, the lawn mower claims it can mow up to 1/4 acre and run for up to 40 minutes, but in my experience it fell well short of those expectations.
Customer service was just as frustrating. The wait times were extremely long, and after finally reaching someone, I had to answer what felt like an endless list of questions before they would even discuss my issue. Instead of making the process easy, it seemed designed to discourage customers from getting help.
I also found the products to be less reliable than I expected, and I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. When I tried to resolve the issue, I felt the company made it unnecessarily difficult to return the product or receive a satisfactory solution.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Greenworks products. I expected better performance, better customer service, and a company that stands behind its products.
