The Arkfeld Ultra is a slim 3 in 1 EDC flashlight that stands out for its bright 1,400 lumen output, glass lens, and handy pocketable design. The deal looks especially strong with the free gift and occasional extra 10 dollar coupon, bringing the price down into the low 50s shipped for some orders. The light is also described as durable and useful for daily carry, with magnetic charging and a lock function to prevent pocket activation. The main caveat is that it runs very hot on turbo, and this Ultra version uses magnetic charging only rather than USB C.

  • The deal can drop to about $53 after tax and shipping when a $10 account promo stacks with the offer.

  • The bundle with the Sphere C Stellar Sky Ambient light can bring the shipped total down to around $53.49 with an extra $10 off.

  • The product highlights describe a high-hardness glass lens upgrade that improves optical clarity and scratch resistance.

  • The ArkPro Ultra is described as fantastic for daily use and super durable.

  • The Arkfeld Ultra lens is reported to be able to melt if left on too long.

  • The flashlight is reported to get extremely hot in turbo mode, with enough heat to burn yourself or start a fire.

  • This specific model is reported to charge magnetically only, unlike regular Ultra versions that also include USB-C charging.

  • An older Arkfeld version is reported to develop a side switch that loses smoothness fairly quickly.

Arkpro is definitely the way to go. The Arkfeld ultra lens can melt if left on to long. That alone is a good enough reason to pass on this. For the extra $20 you get a glass lens that out performs this in every way. I have dropped mine from over 10" onto asphalt with only a minor ding. Once it fell into a concrete washout bin and was submerged in nasty concrete water for 5+ minutes while I mucked around looking for it. When I found it I washed, and blew off with compressed air. The lens is still perfect and it functions like new months later. Its a phenomenal light!
Seems like a similar story with the oclip vs oclip pro. I got both a couple days back and the Pro's definitely the way to go there too. Pro has a glass lens, and it's always nice having a flood light, too, in addition to more output when it's needed.

Arkpro also has USB-C recharging whereas this Arkfield requires the proprietary magnetic charger.
If I see the Arkpro on a deal like this I might bite, but for now I've already got entirely too many flashlights for one person.. it's becoming a problem, lol.

$71.99 on Amazon for reference.

I do own the ArkPro and it's a fantastic light. Note these get extremely hot in turbo mode. As in you can easily start a fire and/or burn yourself. They have a lock function if you hold down on the center of the pad so you don't accidentally turn it on in your pocket, coat, etc. This function is easy to turn on and off. I keep mine locked and have never had an issue unlocking.

Have a good day!

I'm confused. From reading the description, the Ultra is the one with the glass lens. I looked up the melting lens issue and found some posts on Reddit about the Pro having a poly lens that could melt if it's left on in your pocket, not the Ultra. It also seems the Ultra is positioned as the more expensive one. Do I have these flipped?
Arkfeld pro has a plastic lens. The Arkpro is a new updated light. There was also an arkfeld ultra(which I think did have a glass lens. Add to that the arkpro ultra if you need more models to confuse you. Maybe we can have a word with their marketing guy.

Obviously I'm liking the Arkfeld Ultra Olive Green Patriot Eagle CW model, great deal at 50% off and the Sphere C Stellar Sky Ambient Lantern gift. Much better than the Amazon deal @$71.99

There was also an Arkfeld Ultra? That is literally the model this sale is for.

Also:
High Transparency Glass Lens: Upgraded from PC to high-hardness glass for superior optical clarity and scratch resistance.

While I agree that O-Light's marketing is dog crap, it's not hard to read the five bullet points that answer this quesion.

There are several people making this claim in the thread without offering a shred of actual detail. What specifically makes the ArkPro so much better? From what I see on lumens, battery, etc. specs, they're very similar on paper.

As far as I can tell, this is the cool white (5700K~6700K) version. Does anyone happen to know if they have a deal on the neutral white (4000k~5000K) variant?

Even with a lower color temperature, it's still 1,400 lumens. Lower color temp is usually not as bright.
