nice deal, I had damaged the original stylus on my TEAC TN-400S and considered replacing it with this (similar enough) but ultimately went with the VM95ML as an upgrade instead. Had this deal been live at the time, I'd likely have stuck with the VM95E Smilie

Definitely a deal. The price has been in free fall since April, but this is still the lowest price since all the way back in early 2021.

I am surprised this isn't on the Front Page yet. Certainly a better deal than the Sony and Denon turntable "deals". Which, by the way, come with a worse cartridge than this. In fact, any turntable below $300 - and a lot turntables above $300 - come with a worse cartridge. Yes, that's how unreasonable turntable pricing is now.

This is probably price mistake, price for stylus alone dropped to $49 at the same time: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JXDD...X0DER&th=1

Ridiculous question, of course not.

It does fit perfectly in my Maxwell Walkman though.

How's it stack up vs ortofun 5e? I recently replaced my stylus but if this is a killer deal I will keep it on hand.

My cartridge is whatever is default on an orbit.

Vinyl records have a practical dynamic range of about 50 to 70 dB.

CD dynamic range is 96dB
so what is the point of vinyl?
