Deal Details
1. Look for an email from Samsung for a 5 percent off coupon for signing up for texts.
The email subject is "Ready for a sweet, new shape?" For the new foldable being released on July 22nd but the email has a link to get 5 percent off. It would have come to your edu/email registered with Samsung. The coupon will expire on 7/21.

2. Login into EDU/EPP and select 512 GB and Cobalt Violet or white color.
3. Apply the coupon at checkout.

This is better than Fi deal if you need 512 GB.

I have never been able to see the price that some of you have been getting. I am using an .EDU account. I am seeing $1074.99 for 512GB. This is the lowest I have seen. I wasn't seeing this even when PAYPAL150 code was active. I am thinking to pull the plug and I am desperately trying to get a new phone. I am upgrading from OnePlus 8T and I have seen negative things about OnePlus 15/15R. Not sure what people don't like about it. I know OnePlus meant less expensive in the past which it isn't any more but its really the only viable choice besides the S26 Ultra. Someone tell me otherwise, please. I was looking at RedMagic and was about to pull the plug on that but didn't. There is nothing on SD about those phones. In any case, is $1074 a price I should go with for S26 Ultra?

The problem with any Chinese phone including red magic is software incompatiblity to the point that even basic functionality like push notification might not work. One plus branded phones will be gone soon so I wouldn't bother buying those. S26U is a great phone. Why don't you do the Google Fi deal for $650 https://slickdeals.net/f/19248370. Your total cost will be around $710 plus taxes and you can use it with any carrier as Fi unlocked.

I read the original post on this deal - and it sounded like too many things need to happen and need to go according to the plan to be able to get the price in this post. I will read it again when I have more time. Am I reading this right that Fi will unlock after 120 days?

Fi phones are factory unlocked and can be used with any carrier from day 1. You can DM me for the steps if you like.

It seems that only violet version is enjoying this discount now. The price of white is much higher.

Also the 512GB is showing up as $1075 before the 5%. The 256GB is $885. Did you mean to say 256 instead of 512?

That green "$200 off storage upgrade" seems to be the difference. My EDU account is also showing +$200 higher than you are seeing. I wonder how you got that bonus.

There is a $200 off storage upgrade but its targeted. Couple of days ago I have seen effective price at $799.

Hi, I am on EPP account and see following prices.. looks like the aforementioned price is not for everyone.
I went through the whole deal. The missing $200 storage discount seems to require that you use the Samsung Shop app [google.com] and that you're logged in. I had the $200 discount available for both my main account and my EPP account in the APP, but it doesn't show up on desktop for me. The App is the secret sauce. If the app isn't the secret sauce, then I'm using the app on my Samsung S22 Ultra, which maybe the fact that it's a previous version S##/S## Ultra phone using the app triggers the discount. Who knows.

I went ahead and put some instructions in the wiki to replicate, with a breakdown of where all the discounts come from or show up.

Also I think only Cobalt Violet has the discount anymore, reflected as $350 for the "No" option for trade-in, and Black will give a discount of $300 instead.

Hope that helps.

OP, if you want me to add those instructions to your OP, let me know, or you can add them yourself.

Did you order two Samsung phones with EPP discount within last 12 months?
Oh is this a thing? I bought a Z Fold 7 and a Tab S11 with EPP in the last 12 and couldn't get the good price on the S26 Ultra with the PAYPAL150 coupon.

For each category you can buy two in a two months period. I don't think tablets and phones are in the same category though.

https://www.samsung.com/us/shop/offer-program/

"You can purchase up to two products per product category, per e-mail address and/or shipping address within any 12-month period with the exclusive pricing/offer provided by our Samsung Offer Program.

Exceptions apply to three product categories:

• For home appliance accessories, the limit is set to 4.
• For mobile accessories, the limit is set to 4.

Any products over the amount will be no include Samsung Offer Program savings."

You can add those instructions to OP but I don't see the discount anymore even with Cobalt Violet color. I have a feeling that some of these are still going to pop up in the run up to July 22nd.

Well, idk then. They're both under Mobile on the website. But what do they mean by category? Those terms don't say.
