FYI,this deal has gone from $46 to $55 and now $60 in like a month. It's still a decent deal, burlt I'm hoping for the return of the $46 one.

I just bought this exact color mix and have not had any issues with 3 of the spools so far but I'm only a quarter of the way through on each on an AD5X printing at 255 nozzle and 85 bed temps.

I am expecting to use the dryer more though since I'm a humid environment and petg absorbs moisture faster than PLA supposedly

I have been using Kingroon's PETG for the last year; probably used about 40-50 spools and no problem.

I have gone through half the orange spool in this set without issue. Generic settings from spool.

I have used well over 100kg of Kingroon PETG. It is my go-to for functional prints, but it looks good enough I also use it for aesthetics.

I am on my second box of these already. Just make sure that you thoroughly dry it for 12 hours before you print. And then store it in a dry bag or dry box.

I have printed things for my Tesla from this filament and it does not melt inside my car unlike PLA.

If this drops to $45 again then I will buy a third box but $60 is on the high side for me.

I've been 3d printing since February and have printed with Kingroon PETG a ton. It's been great so far but a few quick things to be aware of:
  • this is a pretty good price per KG for PETG but I've picked this mix color pack in May for about $50 shipped. You could be spending way more for basic PETG so I think this is a safe price point to dip your toes into.
  • use a release agent on your print sheet to make it much easier to remove your petg prints... I've used an elmer's glue stick in a pinch but I found that a dedicated 3d print liquid "glue" works so much better. Some people have also used hair spray. That said, I found that my Kobra X needs a release agent more than my K2.
  • Verify all the rolls of filament before you start printing. A box of black filament had clear instead (even the label on the spool said black) and Ali Express wanted me to return all the filament... considering that I already went through a few rolls at this point, I decided to just eat the cost since it was so cheap (Kingroon CS told me to contact AE).
  • Get yourself a filament dryer. I've dried all my filament before using it, just as a good rule of thumb. Desiccant helps keep your filament dry but the dryer actually removes the moisture from your filament.

Thank you so much for detailed and honest insights. I bought a Bambu mini A1. Do you think it works fine with my printer? I need to buy a dryer soon. Any specific one you suggest for a newbie without breaking bank? Thank you again

I've found if you've bought one before you'll get special offers throughout the sale to buy at that special ~$50 price. Good filament, absolutely no complaints

LOVE this brand, got 20 boxes right now. I was having issues with my Sunlu PLA+ being very brittle, never had that issue with these
