What's the catch here? Is HDMI 2.0 and DP 2.0 ok?

The H255 is basically a defective 260. It's unable to boost CPU & iGPU properly due to degradation. It's used in the Chinese budget market. It's definitely not worth buying when you have to spend another 400-600 to complete the system.

I have new RAM and spare storage sitting around. I would use this for light and retro gaming. What kind of boost clocks would this have? Is it still not worth purchasing?

I don't know about the degredated boost per previous poster, but it has a 780M igpu which is very good for retro gaming/emulation normally.

"The Ryzen 7 260 is the globally available standard with an AI-focused NPU, while the Ryzen 7 H 255 is an Asian-market variant lacking an NPU with slightly lower clock speeds and a less powerful integrated GPU."H255 has 780M GPU clocked at 2.6GHz vs 2.7 on the 260. Max CPU boost of 4.9 GHz vs 5.1 on the 260. No NPU (AI) on the H255.

Thanks. I've been looking for a mini-pc with the 780M. I wonder if it's dual channel ram.

In41, I have 32GB of DDR5 from a defunct Dell Micro that dropped on me from work, so this will be a nice little Steam gaming box.

Maybe look for a pop-up window with the payment info. I also got stuck at the final step but the order went through. Check your orders page to see if it worked https://www.aliexpress.com/p/order/index.html

While it was stuck I also hit refresh without having an issue.
