How long do you warm the rice for? I currently have a 3 cup non pressure Cuckoo for 2 people and it will get pretty dried up at about day 3. Interested in upgrading to a pressure rice cooker but we don't eat rice fast enough to justify a 10 cup.

to avoid possible botulism you don't want to keep it warm for more than 2 hours (though as a kid I remember my family having it for days). These are used daily and any left overs are refrigerated for say fried rice next day or so. Also most rice cookers don't do well for very small batches, you would want to stick to a a 3 cup cooker

Tempted to upgrade my trusty 3-cup for this beast. It seems significantly quicker based on the chart provided.

You have 3 cup rice cooker and you warm it for 3 days? You don't need rice cooker. You need uncle Ben microwave rice.10 cup don't even last my in law family a day. My family is smaller so we only have 5 cup cooker. But realistically we only cook about 2 cups a day.

This is an older model that came out almost 10 years ago. Yah but the price you cannot beat. New ones have better function but as far as cooking goes they are almost identical.
