This ultra slim Perlegear wall mount is aimed at large TVs and stands out for its sturdy feel, easy installation, and clean low profile once hung. It has been used successfully with 77 inch sets and even a 100 pound plasma, with solid cable management and straightforward leveling. The promo code still works and scales to multiple mounts in one order. The main drawback is fit, since some installations have no centering leeway with certain stud spacing or VESA layouts, and a few builds have had alignment or hole size issues.
Common Questions (5)
Yes, it is rated for up to 132 lbs and has been used successfully with large plasma TVs, including an old 100 lb plasma and a 58-inch Panasonic plasma. For heavier sets, secure installation into studs matters, and some users still prefer a more robust mount for very heavy plasmas.
It can fit 18-inch stud spacing, with the bracket holes allowing that layout on a 77-inch TV install. The mount may be much less forgiving on nonstandard layouts, and 24-inch stud spacing can limit centering adjustment for larger TVs.
It is described as sturdy and easy to mount and level, and one install on a 77-inch TV was reported as straightforward with no cable-management issues. A solid stud attachment is important, with one install using four screws into studs and holding without problems.
Yes, the promo code still works, and it can apply to multiple mounts in the same order. That makes it useful if you want to buy more than one unit at the discounted price.
Some units have fitment problems, including holes that do not line up correctly or pieces that do not fit together as expected. The mount can work well when the parts match properly, but a bad fit may require a return.

I was a little worried about the second "higher weight capacity" version but that one was perfect. I mounted an old 100lbs plasma to it in the garage and I've had zero issues so far with either. I don't think you can beat the price proposition of these mounts.

I just went ahead and got both -- P65VT60 for too much more than free and PDP-6020FD for free. From FBM like PhantomCypher. I skipped plasma altogether when they came out, went from the SD-special mitsu DLP projection to 4k LCDs. Just wanted to see what the hype was about. They are nice if you don't mind hauling around 100lbs+ of glass and smelling people's nonenals.
I'm actually hoping it never dies. Sure, it runs a little hot. Room temperature is noticeable after a day of watching but this is a minor inconvenience that comes in handy in the winter time. Haha!
