Doesnt ur car already show the pressure on the dash?

Assuming it is faulty, any tire inflator shows the pressure when you hook it up, what is the point of a separate tool? Generally curious as it seems a waste to me

It's weird, but my 2004 Civic doesn't show me the tire pressure. Could you teach me how to get it to show?

You'd spend $2 in gas (not to mention time) driving over there every time you need to use it.
