Entire chair is great EXCEPT there is a wacky recline mechanism where there is a spring pin that's supposed to only recline to your selection... in practice the springs aren't strong enough so the chairs go into full recline then instant you sit in them.
Due to odd design it's not even practical to zip tie or add a bolt anywhere to force it to act like a chair
I'd buy any other chair from this company that doesn't have the dogleg reclining mechanism unless you want to put in the time to design a removable wedge to bolt into the flex mechanism to keep it from folding
Oh and umbrella seems like a good idea until you realize the sun is only directly overhead for an hour a day and the rest of the umbrella (even if angled perfectly in low wind, which NC / SC beaches never never never have) can only cover some of your body. If one arm ain't being burned, the other is.
