Woot had these on sale a week ago for $24 before tax. I bought 4 of them for $104.52 after tax. A lifetime of cobras for me, as an electrician.

I have these plus the pliers wrench, both in 250/10", and wish I'd gotten the 180mm/7.25". These longer handles really get in the way in tight spaces. Still the best pliers I've ever owned. The way they work is amazing.

Im for one. I like these cuz they sell plastic "jaw protectors" you can buy to prevent scratching up nice hardware.

One pair could last a lifetime. You might end up leaving a couple pairs of those in your will. I have a pair of 40 year old Knipex Alligators still going strong. I think they're the og first version, they have "Patent Pending" stamped on the handle.

I'm also an electrician (35+ years commercial/industrial electrician). You can't beat having 2 pairs of Cobras or Alligators for running conduit.

You should try Knipex sidecutters and dikes, they're better than Kleins. I switched from Klein to Knipex hand tools around 30 years ago.

I recommend the sidecutters with the narrow head (I think they call it a "New England head") with the fish puller and sta-con crimper built in.

I own the knipex lineman and angle cutters. I did own a knipex wire stripper but lost it on this job that I'm working at. I was heavily disappointed at that. Bought the Klein curved slim forged wire strippers and it isn't the same. I'm thinking of trying out the straight handle version from klein, but idk yet.

The reason why I bought 4 is because if I lose one I got 3 more to go. 😅 It SHOULD last me for my entire career. It better.

Shelling out 40 dollhairs for a pair of channelocks in this economy seems crazy to me.
