It does give you a workout your calves and hamstrings (you can get the same workout riding bicycles). Good for me to keep my hamstrings in shape for skiing LoL

I have another brand that is similar. It has no resistance bands and I believe it is a good idea to have them. I have fallen off mine more than once (of course it helps to be sober). It was challenging at first, so took some getting used to. The idea is more about developing good balance and agility than working out. But, it can help with both objectives. You can make the exercise as challenging as you want, by moving faster and carrying weight or shifting your center of gravity (eg. squatting or strapping light weights your body in different places.) The lower the center of gravity the easier. Definitely feels more like a leg workout with the extra weight at or below the waist.

The description says one model is white and the other black. However, the photos don't reflect the different colors. They also show different dimensions, but it just appears to be an error.

I got the $20 one mentioned above. I find that it doesn't really do anything for me. I got on it after my workout and was on it for like 20 minutes, didn't feel any burn or anything.

Same, didn't find much need to balance as it just goes side to side. Pretty stable, was looking for more of a challenge
