-Slickdeal page said it was "AOVOPRO", but when it arrived, it was branded "Joyhis". I have a feeling this listing is similar as the Aliexpress page mentions nothing about AOVOPRO, just that the seller is "AOVOPRO Choice Store". All brands are similar, just white labeled so it's whatever.
-I got the 22ah battery version and paid $189 before tax for it, so $153 would be a great deal. But I have a feeling these will be the 10ah version. Item listing page has all sorts of errors. For example, it claims to have front disc brakes, this scooter does not...just rear disc and an electronic brake in the motor. Honestly, it's fine.
-The speedometer is off on these, it claims 22mph but it's closer to 16mph max.
-I could not find the max speed override even though online claims it works by holding the two buttons. The electronic brake kicks in once you hit "22mph", most evident is when you're going downhill and the scooter goes ABOVE the max speed, the brake auto kicks in if you push on the throttle.
-Someone mentioned 50% of stated range for the battery, I would say it all depends on terrain and weight of the person. I ride in "sport" mode all the time and getting 30-35 miles on it. So I would say you definitely should get half when the battery is new and weather is optimal.
-The vicont app is fine, limited to what's available, there is a "lock" feature but can be defeated if a thief knows the button combo override.
-Cruise control is available, just hold the throttle for 5s and it will engage, brake or throttle cancels cruise control.
Overall, I like this scooter, wish it had a key ignition like my old one but I will live for $200. Really convenient if you are traveling short distances all the time...especially if you happen to be in an urban environment.
I immediately took the belly pan apart to determine what was driving the thing, and, as expected- It's a fairly inexpensive, low spec controller.
The YouFS-V160 350w Brushless Motor controller. This is rated for 48v DC at 15amp drive.
The speed control is covered in some sort of silastic polymer to keep the connections from rattling apart while riding, but doesn't appear to offer any signficant water ingress protection. The battery itself is unfortunately glued into the tray, and since i actually intend to ride it, I did NOT tear into that part of the unit.
Wiring from the battery to the controller uses a standard XT60 style connector (stuck together with more glue). Motor appears to have standard 3x power wires and then halleffect (sensored wires) for the controller to sense position and timing to allow smoother drive.
It rides decently, I'm about 185 and in "S" mode it cruises along with a good clip. I can take fair size grades but it exhibits slowing significantly when momentum is lost.
Enjoy some internal pics, so you don't have to tear your own apart.

Does the front suspension give a small thunk after some bumps were the wheel moves up and then comes back to normal rest position?
I weigh ~200 lbs , tires are at 40 PSI . The suspension is not engaged till I hit some bumps ie the springs compress a bit .

It's MASSIVE and takes every square inch of that compartment. The battery alone is worth around $200

This is an interesting scooter. The frame is heavy and I think overbuilt for the job. Steering is squirrely and the seating position isn't really the most ergo and if you have big feet you will feel cramped. Feels more powerful than many claimed 500 watt electric conveyances I've used. Really big hills out of the question at 165lb and I had to push it. The price was certainly right given the specs and I do deem it a slickdeal. I think I'm gonna drill some holes in a big wooden wine box and use that as a cargo box. The lockbox is a nice extra but it's relatively small. It's also padded on top as if you are meant to sit a passenger on it but there's so little space I don't see how you could really manage it. Headlight is very usable and better than most ebikes I've bought. Same goes for the taillight. Taillight even glows more brightly when you apply the brakes so that's great. Steering geometry is just kinda wonky and takes getting used to - squirrely in a word, arguably dangerous in some hands or in some situations. Like all kick scooters with a seat bolted on, it makes you look like a dork.

Thinking of super gluing one beneath the fender and another under the seat.
The trackers I bought were cheap like 4x$10 on Amazon.
Gourmet you scared me because after reading your comment I couldn't find them in the box either. To my relief they were attached to the bike, where the front tire goes beneath the Styrofoam.

Well I just put it together. It was very easy, the only difficult part is when you have to lift the front to insert the front tire.
The video is useful for that.
If you have patience you can put it together, just breathe in and exhale.
Took me about an hour because I was making sure I got everything right. Actually installed the front fender backwards and had to remove it and replace it. Good thing I was taking my time 😂
Honestly I could redo the entire thing in less than 10 minutes is that I know.
Almost everything comes pre assembled.
Going to go to the supermarket now.

I figured out a couple of them:
p1 is 36 48 56 V... leave it on 48! should be for volts.
p2 goes from 5 to 32. I am thinking this could be tire size.
p3 has 03 and 05 as options. this is the number of speed modes. if i put it on 5, ot scrolls thru the 3 speeds and then 2 blank ones before it cycles back. leave this on 3.
p4 has 00 and 01 as options. 01 allows throttle at a deadstop or you will need to move your scooter forward before throttle kicks in.
p5 one goes from 25 to 90
???
p6 one goes from 25 to 60
???
p7 one goes from 25 to 99
???
