Not sure how you're getting that price but for me it's $443 after coupon and tax.

i believe acemagic(ian) has a history of coming with some kind of malware so make sure to do a fresh os install. should be common practice for any pc purchase anyway.

Great budget gaming machine. But Steam machine should be 3x more gpu compute, faster memory, faster cpu (single threaded)

This is what Gemini says, tho it sounds generous to me & ai can make mistakes:

What types of games & their estimated frames per second at 1080p medium, would this play:
ACEMAGICIAN M1 Mini PC: Ryzen
77735HS, Radeon 680M, 24GB ?

**
The ACEMAGICIAN M1 Mini PC equipped with the Ryzen 7 7735HS, Radeon 680M integrated graphics, and 24GB of RAM is an exceptionally capable machine for a mini PC. Thanks to the RDNA 2 architecture of the Radeon 680M, it comfortably handles esports titles at high frame rates, older AAA titles smoothly, and modern, demanding AAA games at playable framerates (often hovering around 40–60 FPS if you lean on upscaling technologies like AMD FSR).
Here is how users are looking for the information is a breakdown of what you can expect across different game tiers at **1080p resolution and Medium settings**:

### 1. Esports & Competitive Multiplayer
These games are highly optimized and run beautifully on this hardware. You will easily hit high-refresh-rate targets.
* **Valorant / Counter-Strike 2:** 100 – 140+ FPS
* **Apex Legends:** 75 – 90 FPS
* **Overwatch 2:** 80 – 100 FPS
* **Rocket League:** 90 – 120+ FPS
* **Fortnite:** 65 – 85 FPS (using Performance or DX12 mode with optimized settings)

### 2. Light / Moderate AAA & Open-World Games (A few years old)
Games from the late PS4/Xbox One era run smoothly at 1080p Medium, often locking to a stable 60 FPS.
* **Grand Theft Auto V:** 75 – 90 FPS
* **Forza Horizon 5:** 60 – 70 FPS
* **The Witcher 3 (Classic/Non-Next Gen):** 50 – 60 FPS
* **Shadow of the Tomb Raider:** 45 – 55 FPS

### 3. Demanding / Modern AAA Games
For heavy modern titles, 1080p Medium will push the iGPU to its limits. While playable, you will occasionally dip below 60 FPS. To maintain a smooth experience here, it is highly recommended to toggle **AMD FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution)** to "Quality" or "Balanced" mode.

* **Cyberpunk 2077:** 35 – 45 FPS (Native) | ~55 FPS with FSR enabled
* **Red Dead Redemption 2:** 40 – 50 FPS
* **Helldivers 2:** 35 – 45 FPS
* **Hogwarts Legacy:** 35 – 45 FPS

### Performance
Tips for Your Setup
> **Dual-Channel Advantage:** Since you have 24GB of RAM, ensure it is configured in a dual-channel setup (typically 8GB + 16GB for this specific capacity) if it didn't come that way. Integrated graphics rely heavily on system RAM bandwidth for video memory.
> **Adjusting UMA Frame Buffer:** If you ever experience stuttering in modern games, you can go into the BIOS and increase the dedicated VRAM allocation (UMA Frame Buffer Size) to **4GB or 8GB**. Because you have a healthy 24GB of total RAM, sharing it generously with your 680M will prevent games from hitting a memory wall.
