This or one of the traeger smokers that's on sale right now?
The size of this would compare to the smaller Traeger Pro grill, I don't remember the number, Pro 22 maybe? I have the bigger Pro 34 that goes on sale for $499. Had it for two years this fall and I hate it. It is so bare bones - no shelves, no storage, no connectivity, nothing beyond the guts and the grates and single-ply walls - for the premium price and the pellet feed system is guaranteed to develop a "funnel" with every cook - especially overnight cooks - and leave you without heat. I will never buy another Traeger.
People in my family have Pit Bosses and they're great. Wish I would've got a Pit Boss instead of going for the name brand. While they "pioneered" the auger feed system, Traeger has failed to innovate and all of these other brands have passed them up, and Pit Boss is one of them. Buy it with confidence that you'll love it, as long as the size of this is good for you. Always opt for more real estate inside, depending on the size of the crowd you'll cook for.

Have you ever smoked a brisket before? How does it come out in terms of flavor and smokiness, always thought a pellet smoker was inferior
People in my family have Pit Bosses and they're great. Wish I would've got a Pit Boss instead of going for the name brand.
