Legit one of the best locks on the market. Great price. This isnt the top tier one, but itll do the job better then 90% of locks out there. Will it prevent someone from stealing your bike? No. But itll buy you time to decide what you want to stop them with

Owning any form of a e-bike is NY is just a horrible experience when it comes to how easy theft is. I've wanted one forever, but imagine downing $2k just to have it disappear like my cars catalytic converter a few years back.

I don't get that, wouldn't any lock be able to delay a theft? What makes this one any different than a generic bike lock if it's not theft proof?

The material used on the lock itself. Given enough time and effort, any lock can be busted. Most locks can be cut very quickly; this lock takes a decent amount of time to actually cut through comparable to most locks
