Don't get the generic Amazon brand, they are not the actual weight they are supposed to be. I got a 25 lb one and it was only 23. This is a good, reputable brand.

oh, that might explain why some dumbbells feel heavier at the gym I joined recently. I thought it was due to difference in shape. I should weigh them and find out. Maybe could be useful for smaller progressive overload increments lol

I'd get these, since I don't have 35's, but do most of my workouts at a gym now so really shouldn't get more workout gear I already have access to there.

I had one dumbbell that I bought elsewhere and then this one from Amazon and was doing bicep curls with them. One felt noticeably lighter, so I weighed them both. The Amazon was two pounds light, which made a big difference. I Sent it back and got a 25 lb CAP from WalMart.
