Metallica became everyone's favorite band after this album, and that was basically the end of Metallica. They continued to be great live, but lost the ability to write anything worth listening to.

I'll bet you haven't even listened to half of the Metallica albums released after this one.

This was my first album that i ever bought on CD back in the ghetto bootleg Tower Records, the one in the back of the real Tower Records, where they sold used CD's for $5. loved it so much that i bought LOAD and RELOAD ghetto used versions later. but you havent heard anything until you've experienced the multichannel surround Dolby Atmos version of this album.
