absolutely wonderfully quick toaster, but when it gets dirty (quickly) you'll have to throw it out and get another because it is a horror to clean, and you can't really.

I'm probably more on the over-cautious side but I try not to make a mess with anything I do because I find it to be too much of an effort to clean it up. I'd rather take the little extra effort to cover my meals in the microwave than clean out caked on splatter that's all over the walls and the rotating platter. I say that just to give an idea of how I treat my FlashXpress toaster oven, though covering isn't as much an option in an oven. My toaster oven gets dirty over time, but not excessively. Crumbs accumulate and get burnt onto the surfaces (mostly the crumb tray), maybe some light splatter here or there.

Under those circumstances I was able to clean out my toaster oven fine. I took the door off, took the little rack out, took the crumb tray out, wiped all those things down, and could easily fit my hand in the toaster oven to wipe the walls down and such. No there was nothing I needed to deep scrub off the walls, and yeah that would probably be more of a pain. Cleaning around the infrared heating elements does require some caution as well, in general not cooking in ways that grease spills on them is called out in the manual as something to watch out for.

Probably had it for about 9 years or so if I had to guess, not sure where I even got it from anymore. I've probably used it about 4-5 times a week over the whole 9 or so years I've had it. And more importantly, I'm the only one that uses it so no one else can make a mess out of it.

It has an auto tray that comes out automatically when the door is opened. Most of the new air fryer toasters don't have this feature that is why I am sticking with this one. The power button does fail over time and there is no replacement for it.

Ive had this for 3 years. For a toaster oven, it actually does a great job making toast. Small footprint is great. Infared heating means less likely to burn food if left too long.

Wish i didnt get the panasonic 2 in - microwave convection oven and got it separate. There probably are other great tabletop friendly options like ninja crispi but this is the OG and agree with the poster above iykyk. Dont get this if youre a clean freak though it will get dirty and itll be hard to clean but itll last a decades if you dont drop food and burn out the broiler light

You are right... it's tough to clean, that's why I am debating whether to buy another one to replace the dirty one... :\

I've had an earlier model of this toaster oven (NB-G100P) since 2006 -- still works perfectly. Paid 70 at Amazon. Yes, pain to clean, but we manage.

I have this in my garage as I lost a leg in a move recently but - two things I don't like about this item (it works well if you have it bake "regular" stuff) - you can't really bake pizzas (most pizzas are larger than this device, and no rolls or poofy baked bread can be reheated - too high and element basically touches or overheats top portion of bread and burns it even on low)
...... besides those specific instances I like this product

You got a good deal. I paid $85+ tax from Panasonic on 12/31/2015 for my NB-G110PW. I bought a newer hightly rated toaster oven a few years ago, but am still using the Panasonic - all the time.
I only wanted the newer one because more tray space and ability to toast selectively on top or bottom, or both. Pizzas can come out better with it, but it's a hassle to use.
With the Panasonic, both elements turn on. That said, the Panasonic still wins for convenience.
I put a layer or aluminum foil over the pull out lower tray which help with cleaning and I also put a layer of tin foil over the inside heating tray.
It's a bitch to clean, but possible to make it decent looking again. I was skeptical but that dawn heavy duty power spray does a pretty good job.

Still using the same model more than a decade later, good example of don't ruin a good thing.

I was first introduced to this toaster when I sat at a sushi bar about 10 years ago and I noticed how seamlessly the chef incorporated it into his food preparation. So I decided to get one and have been thrilled with it since day one. I don't really understand the difficulty/frustration with cleaning it personally and I wouldn't let that stop me from owning one.
